Education

1. 2006 – 2008

   FBAUP — Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto

   The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, tracing back to the Aula de Desenho e Debuxo, a drawing school founded in 1780. André earned a Master's in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia there, exploring transmedia storytelling, UX design, interactive media, game design, virtual/augmented reality, and mobile/ubiquitous computing.

2. 2002 – 2006

   ESAD — Escola Superior de Artes e Design, Matosinhos

   A private higher-education school of art and design founded in 1989 near Porto. André earned a Bachelor's in Communication Design there.

3. 1999 – 2002

   EAPA — Escola Artística e Profissional Árvore, Porto

   An arts-focused professional school descending from Árvore, a cooperative of plastic artists founded in 1963. André earned a High School Diploma in Graphic Design there, covering serigraphy, offset printing, print design, and black-and-white photography, for which he received accolades.
